We have a record number of attendees and will see you under the tent in your Beach Chic best! |
As a reminder, the CYC parking area is in the '3rd' lot of Eastward Ho! nearest the chipping green. If these spaces are full, please park along Fox Hill Road in the traditional manner. To ease congestion, please carpool or better yet, try ride sharing like Uber! As always, safety is paramount as we balance convenience and consideration for a shared parking resource with our friends at Eastward Ho! |

Getting your boat to CYC: No boats or sailboards may be carried over the hill to be launched at CYC. Launching may take place at Jack Knife Harbor, the Town Landing on Crow's Pond, Ryder's Cove or in Round Cove, permits may be required. Transportation of 420s and Optis over the hill for the purpose of attending regattas during the summer may occur ONLY before sunrise and after sunset per our lease with Eastward Ho! |
Thank you all again for agreeing to patrol the CYC Regatta this weekend. As a volunteer event, the Regatta truly would not happen without your involvement. Thank you! Patrol Meetings will be held 8:00am on Saturday morning and before the Saturday afternoon races. Finally, while each of you have been assigned to one Line during the Regatta or one shift per day, you are welcome to patrol during the other shifts each day. Preordered shirts will be available for pickup at CYC starting Thursday, August 3. Exciting gear news! We have new CYC gear arriving in time for the CYC regatta. Come by the CYC gear table during the regatta for new CYC performance visors, sweatshirts, sweatpants embroidered with the CYC burgee, and an all-time CYC favorite: the CYC performance Nike hat. Quantities are limited, and so swing by early for the best selection on these items and all of your CYC gear favorites. |
Welcome aboard! Regina & Bill Bello, Chatham and Monckton, MD Parents of member Courtney Bishop and volunteered around CYC last season. Brianna Bobola, North Truro Brianna, enrolled in the adult sailing classes, is new to sailing and eager to learn! Alicia & Mark Driscoll, South Chatham and White Plains, NY Mark grew up sailing at CYC with his family and has recently moved back to the East Coast to from Los Angeles. Jocelyn & Shawn Hemingway, Harwich and Ludlow, MA Sawyer (11), previously took classes at PBCB and is now enrolled in the Opti Intermediate program. Alex Maggioni, Chatham and Los Angeles, CA One of the Maggioni siblings! Alex has been around CYC for many years and is participating in the adult sailing program. Megan Meyer, Brewster and Oklahoma City, OK A close friend of the Wesp family and new to sailing! Megan has enrolled in both sessions of adult sailing. Henry Pott, Chatham and Concord, MA Married with two teenage sons, Henry is an experienced sailor looking forward to meeting people who also enjoy sailing. | Emily & Warren Richmond, Acton MA The Richmonds have 3 Children in sailing school- Lucy (12-Opti), Warren (10-Opti), Jane (8- crew) Young Warren had great experience sailing in CYC regatta last year! Lindsay & Drew Rogers, Chatham and Medfield, MA Tenley and Elizabeth are participating in the crew classes. Jo & Michael Schreibman, Harwich The Schreibmans have recently relocated here from Florida. Michael plans to race Sunfish this season. Bri Schreiner, Chatham Bri is the daughter of Katy and Frank Sherer. Remi (12) is enrolled in the Sunfish classes. Laura & Bryan Semple, Chatham and Somerville, MA Friends of the Bartletts, Bryan is a sailor and Laura looks forward to learning. Lauren & Brian Simons, Chatham and Westport, CT Andrew (10) and Brooke (8) Lauren, Andrew and Brooke will be taking some private lessons at CYC this summer Becky & Brian Voelkel, Chatham and Hingham, MA Tierney (7), Matthew (5), Evelyn (3). The owners of Mahi Gold, daughter Tierney is enrolled in the crew class. Courtney & Peter Wyman, Chatham and Pacific Palisades, CA Son Henry (10) and daughter Caroline (8) are both in Crew class |
